l. What Is the Cell CycleI think that the Cell Cycle is mainly a series of events that cells go through as they grow and divide. It also can be described as a cell goes from one division after another separated by an in between growth that is know as Interphase. Then, the main reason for the Cell Cycle is to represent the stages of events a cell goes through. Next, the Cell cycle has four main phases called Mitosis, Cytokinesis, Chromosomes, and synthesis, which all take place during the (M) and (S) phase. Last, when a cell copies the chromosomes, it makes a duplicate set of DNA.

ll. What is MitosisI think that Mitosis is a mainly about these four different phases prophase, metaphase, anaphase, and telophase. First, prophase in Mitosis can be described as chromosomes becoming in visible, have cells grown, and DNA replicating itself. Next, prophase is when the chromatin condenses into chromosomes. Also, the centrioles separate, and a spindle begins to form. Third, Metaphase is when chromosomes line up across the cell and each chromosome is connected to a spindle cord. Then, Anaphase is when centromeres join the sister chromatides split, allowing the sister chromatids to separate and become individual chromosomes. Last, Mitosis, Interphase, and telophase all have eukaryoic cells that go through a cycle.

lll. What is Meiosis I think that Meiosis is involved with two different stages called Meiosis I and Meiosis ll. First, I think that Meiosis is mainly a process of different kinds of divisions in where the number of chromosomes in each cell get cut in half through the separation of the diploid cells. In Meiosis Chromosomes are one of the most important parts because its what keeps it alive and healthy. In Meiosis I each set of chromosomes are replicated. Next, the cell then begins to divide so its almost like it being Meiosis. Then, 4 different chromosomes line up individually in the center of the cell so the chromosome can separate from each other. Last, Meiosis II is when two cells produced by the first Meiosis enter a second meiotic division.

IV. Mitosis v. Meiosis
First off Mitosis is when production of two genetically identical diploid cells reproduce and Meiosis is where it produces four genetically different haploid cell have to form. Next, in mitosis its mainly about a diploid cell having to divide by it giving it two different daughter cells. Also, the daughter cells have different sets of chromosomes and alleles that are identical to each other for the original parent cell. Then, Meiosis has to begin with a diploid cell to produce four haploid cells and theses cells are genetically different from the diploid cell from one to another. Last, Meiosis is all about sexually reproducing organisms to produce gametes and more importantly reproduction involves only in Mitosis.
